O’s Notes: Composer and producer Brett Gold leads his New York Jazz Orchestra on a project that has taken many years to materialize capturing a wealth of his ideas. The culmination of this effort is Gold“Dreaming Big. The songs are presented in a wide variety of styles from swing to Latin to lullabies and waltzes. The common element is a playful spirit that bounces around for different audiences. We enjoyed “Al Andalusia”, “That Latin Tinge” and “Exit, Pursued By A Bear”.
