O’s Notes: This trio led by Ken on the Hammond & Rhodes includes guitarist Mike Mele and Steve Chaggaris on drums. They play with a James Brown type of funk on tunes like “Eternal Funk”, mellow funk on “The Curse” as well as some funky blues like “On the Cuff”. They also perform a relaxed version of Miles Classic “Blue In Green”. Overall this one is hot.
