O’s Notes: Norwegian jazz guitarist, composer Jacob Young leads a trio with bassist Mats Eilertsen and drummer Audubon Kleive on Eventually. They explore several approaches to jazz fusion, all centered on Young’s compositions and prowess. Most of the melodies come from Young or Eilertsen, with pulsating accents from Kleive. “Told You In October”, the peaceful “Moon Over Meno”, “Inside”, and the electric “Schönstedstraße” are highlights.
