O’s Notes: Smooth jazz tenor saxophonist Vincent Ingala puts his groove on top of popping club beats on Fire And Desire. Ingala is a bit of a one man show composing 9 of 10 tracks and playing all instruments except on “Disco Sax” written by Jimmy Roach with Walt Johnson playing trumpet. The beats are solid starting with “Shadow Dancer” and never letting up. Other highlights are “On The Move”, “Fire and Desire”, and the relaxed “Ridin’ The Wave”.
