O’s Notes: Gaetano plays guitar and assembled a trio with Drummer Mike Clark and Bassist Wilber Krebs. They play nine of Letiza’s originals, with an upbeat buses fusion groove. “Toad Girls” is the first showplace for both Krebs and Clark who both make strong contributions throughout the set. “Let Me Hop You Baby” has a cool reggae feel under Gaetano’s flowing melodies and wah-wah. Froggy and The Toads is about the alleged superiority of the slimy species and the ultimate victory of the toad. There are no lyrics so we’re left to connect the funky music to the thoughts. Regardless if you can make the connection, you’ll enjoy the music!
