O’s Notes: These warm bossa nova beats are led by guitarist/vocalist Mario Adnet. We are introduced to Vittor Santos (tb) as a soloist midway through the first track, “From The Heart” and right away we know we’re in for a great set. Teco Cardoso (fl), Jessé Sadoc, Philip Doyle (French horn), Toninho Ferragutte (accordion) and Antonia Adnet (g) all perform solos during the session enhancing the mood and extending the palate of Mario’s music. It’s fresh stuff with a crisp tropical feel.
