O’s Notes: Eric plays trumpet and leads his jazz-fusion band Gatecrash on seven original tunes. This is an engaging live session recorded in Rotterdam late in 2007. They start with high energy on “Magnolia”. Eric puts in the mute to take it down a notch and chill on “Prince of Darkness”. That feeling extends to “Hyper” before they pick a mid-eastern tone on “Bonzi”. They pick up the pace for “Piccolo David” and go into an eclectic mode for “Ravens and Wolves”. It is the second album released from that concert. What a night it must’ve been!
