O’s Notes: Brooke Alford blends her luscious, melodic violin with soulful R&B rhythms for Heaven On Earth. Alford collaborates with producers Bob Baldwin, George Freeman (keys), and Reggie Hines (sax) to bring variety to the session. Kelley Andre serves up soulful, baritone vocals on “Feeling Love” with a fierce bass line by Cliff Keys and Brooke providing complimenting melodies on top. They groove on “Cascade To The Congo” and the title track. There’s more vocal magic from Brooke with Baldwin on “Closer”.
