O’s Notes: Keyboardist and bandleader David K. Matthews releases the 3rd Volume of The Fantasy Vocal Sessions, and it is another winning set. There are down home blues like “Hard Times”, “I’ve Got A Woman” featuring Glenn Walters (vocals), “I’m Your Iceman” featuring Tony Lindsay (vocals), and “Mary Ann” featuring guitarist Chris Cain. Matthews does a fine job of highlighting some of the lesser known, but very talented artists, and listeners will enjoy the soulful music.
