Wes plays guitar, sings and leads Confabulation, a funky, jazzy pop, hip hop band with Owen Chow (t), Rowan Farintosh (sax), Steven Taddei (b), Cyril Lojda (d), and Dakota Hoeppner (keyboards). His vocals are a melodic, spoken word on top of contemporary jazz. The grooves are original, and the themes touch love, mental stress, and social justice. We enjoyed the romantic vibe on “Lost Look”, and the urban bounce of “Feather”. The music is tight, elevating reality-based lyrics to arrive at a unique album.
