O’s Notes: Minnock is singing with confidence on Herring Cove, mixing genres with his raspy, passionate, baritone voice. The rhythm section is vibrant and spirited with drummer Pablo Eluchans, pianist Henrique Haneine and bassist Carlos Mena. Guest artist Dave Liebman provides well placed accents on sax and flute. They mix tempos across eleven selection including five originals to deliver a fine set. Highlights are “If I Could Turn Back Time”, ‘Unconditional” and “Stardust”.
