O’s Notes: This is rocking blues featuring the screaming electric guitar and vocals from Bernard Allison. Bernard has been around for a while with over a half-dozen albums on Ruf since 1994. He pushed the lyrics a bit on the funky “Raggedy And Dirty” and our favorite “Too Cool”. There are also good performances from the core musicians: Ron Sutton (d), Mike Vlahakis (keyboards) and Jassen Wilber (b). It is a solid blues effort.
