O’s Notes: We will forever remember Gabriela’s “Cooking With My Neighbor” during the pandemic. Her heart was large and reflective of her passion when she sings. The Swiss vocalist now presents Homage To Gramlis, a tribute to the town where she grew up. It is a small farm town with wholesome living and family values as depicted by the photo collage in the CD case. Martina is backed by Ben Rosenbaum (accordion), Kyle Miles (b), Maxim Lubarsky (p), Jussi Reijonen (g), and Vancil Cooper (d). The music mirrors her memories with “Four Siblings”, “Mis Bruune Hüüsli”, and “Heaven” standing out. She even provides some yodeling on “Home Calls”.
