O’s Notes: Thea is the vocalist in the spotlight with her trio, The Tramps: Chris Andrew (p), Kodi Hutchinson (b) and Sandro Dominelli (d) supporting her. They swing hard providing an excellent foundation with guest musicians adding additional pop along the way. The program is mostly standards with a couple of Thea’ originals notably the sultry “Vancouver”. We also enjoyed “My Heart Belongs To Daddy” featuring Kent Sangster on tenor sax, the bossa nova beats on “Convenience Store” with Curt Ramm (t) and “Bei Mir Bisr De Schoen” with Clint Pelletier (g).
