O’s Notes: Joshua Shneider is an arranger, composer and conductor of the Love Speaks Orchestra. They perform ten originals and a cover of “Lost In The Stars” featuring vocalist Lucy Woodward who also appears on three other songs notably “Cute Little Nightmare”. Guest Dave Stryker (g) plays on the last two tracks bringing a mellow R&B groove to the set, especially on “Friction”. The sound is powerful and the band swings with a rhythm that draws you in. Shneider has a winner, one that we’ll listen to for a while!
