O’s Notes: Halie has a lush romantic voice with a ton of character. She teams up with pianist Matt Treder for her take on eleven Holiday classics. We enjoyed her last two jazz releases and enjoy what she has done her as well. We enjoyed the lesser-known tunes like “Blue Holiday” and Matt’s two originals. But the swinging arrangements of “Let It Snow” and “Santa Baby” are also standouts.
