O’s Notes: This release has humorous blues lyrics on originals like the Corez original, “Rhythm Method Blues”. It also has nicely arranged standards like “Sweet Georgia Brown” with energetic solos from Larry Panella (sax) and Cortez. Larry also makes hay on his flute on “Manha de Carnival”. There’s more samba beats on the upbeat version of “Georgia On My Mind” a cool arrangement. Chris shines on his guitar on most of the instrumental tracks with his very lively style.
