O’s Notes: Roman plays sax and leads and leads his band through a dozen original selections. It is the first release on drummer Dafnis Prieto’s Dafnison Music label featuring an artist other than himself. The music is modern jazz/free fusion that stays between the lines. Filiu teams up with guitarist Adam Rogers, David Virelles (p), Reinier Elizarde (b) and drummers Marcus Gilmore and Prieto for a set that pops especially on “El „anga” and “La Montaña”.
