O’s Notes: Contemporary jazz keyboard master, Buzz Amato teams up with Doug Payne (sax, EWI, b-cl), Chris Blackwell (g) and several other musicians for an eleven-song collection featuring music inspired by each of the Greek Muses. Muse Café is a balanced smooth jazz album with lots to enjoy. We liked “Angel In My Pocket” with vocals by Melissa Ellen, the funky “‘Round 12AM”, Going Home”, and “Mt Helicon”.
