O’s Notes: Pianist Joe Locasio leads a trio with bassist David Craig and drummer Tim Solook on November, The Music of Phil Gurlik. Phil has worked with Locasio many times over many years in engineering, production, and illustration for some of his recordings. Gurlik’s music is refreshing. The chemistry between this musical team is apparent, leading to a peaceful session. “Artifact”, “Comes Around”, and “Winter Again” are some of the best titles.
