O’s Notes: October Comes Too Soon is the story of session violinist, Gina Kronstadt who found herself unable to play after two major shoulder surgeries. Her creative juices led to the composing of this record while she was sidelined including the vast array of emotions. Gina’s got a warm, seductive voice, good rhythm and a top-notch band with John Beasley & Nicholas Semrad sharing keyboards, Benjamin Shepherd (b), Bob Sheppard (sax, winds, strings), Michael Stever (t) and Joel Taylor (d). Highlights are “The Threat of Love”, “Maybe I Trusted”, IRL” and “A Simple Man”.
