O’s Notes: British saxophonist, composer George Winstone now resides in New York where he collaborated with guitarist Ben Monder for his latest release, Odysseus. The duo engages in spontaneous interactions over nine Parts. This is a bit of a conundrum with scattered explosive passages in a sea full of spa music, meditation music, and music that is easy to relax to. Overall, It is thought-provoking, packed with energy as well as a reflective pallet.
