O’s Notes: Marky is a female vocalist with deep warm tones. She gives us sixteen standards from the American songbooks. The band is a trio led by pianist Dave Austin with Chuck Bennett (b) and Bob Blankenship (d). They swig through the program on “Almost Like Being In Love”. Among the best were “Learning the Blues”. The overall feel is like an intimate small cub combo. Drop a few bucks in the fish bowl!
