O’s Notes: Yonrico Scott is a funky drummer and composer who leads a band of three to six members. All configurations have funky rhythms and solid beats that make you want to move. Bassist Todd Smallie keeps the bottom tight and adds a sweet melodic solo on “Dance Of Life”. We liked their arrangement of “Them Changes” with Scott singing and the mellow groove of “Out Of The Madness” featuring Kofi Burbrigpdge on keys and flute. Ronda Scott caps off the set with the soulful mid tempo title track. This is an excellent party set.
