O’s Notes: Norwegian pianist and composer Chris Dundas leads a quartet featuring Arild Andersen (b, electronics), Patrice Heral (d, electronics) and Bendik Hofseth (sax). The music is mostly original and spans across two discs with well-developed, energizing tunes like “You’re Gonna Tempt Me” and “Lemming Ade”. The mood is brighter than the typical music enacting from Scandinavia, a welcomed scene. Oslo Odyssey captured our interest!
