O’s Notes: This album marks the reunion of Pocket Jungle after a twenty-year hiatus. The lineup is drummer William “Beaver” Bausch, guitarist Pete Smith, Scott Latzky (d, perc), Paul Carlon (sax) and founder, bassist Phil Bowler. We are glad they’re back with funky arrangements of “Old Devil Moon”, a little calypso on “Little Bear” and “Wight Waits for Weights”. This is solid music with threads of the past presented by an experienced well-knit team.
