O’s Notes: Japanese drummer, composer Tomohiro Mori leads a large ensemble for Prana, a collaboration with many musicians, including trumpeter Benny Benack III and Erena Terakubo (a-sax, fl). Benack also sings on “Coast” with a rich string quartet. We also enjoyed the upbeat “Pedalada”, and concluding with “Heights” and the lush strings.
