O’s Notes: Guitarist Jon Lundbom takes the creative liberty of blending rock and free fusion to arrive at a mix that pushes progressive rockers to the edge. His accompaniment includes notables Moppa Elliott (b), Jon Irabagon (sax) and Bryan Murray (sax). This is the fourth release for Jon and his Big Five band performing six new original tunes. We were attracted to elements of “The Bravest Little Pilot No. 2” and “Ears Like A Fox”. It is eclectic and will appeal to a select audience. We anticipate the fervor creates by the lie performance will drive their popularity.
