O’s Notes: Candy has a funky groove that just won’t quit. She sings along with her sax attack on many of the tracks like the opener “My Love”. There are also club beats, processed instrumentation and samples on several songs. Unfortunately these are more prevalent than songs with natural instruments. Candy’s mellow sax and vocal harmonizing on “It’s My Life” and the cool beats of “December” help make this session good.
