O’s Notes: Robert Charles Griggs is a singer who has been in and out of the music business over at last six decades! Session is his latest release, a combination of jazzy ballads and blues. The band is strong with polished veterans like Joe La Barbera (d), Jim DeJulio (b) and Alan Broadbent (p). They do a very good job of reeling you in! The more we listened, the more we liked especially tunes like “Is That Your Woman?”
