O’s Notes: Trevor Anderies plays drums and composed seven of the nine selections on Shades of Truth. The music is a relaxed fusion that sometimes morphs into free spirited improvisation. Dwight Trible adds jazzy blue vocals on several tracks as well taking the theme into darker moods. We enjoyed the bubbly “Three-Four vs. Six-Eight Four-Four Ways” most in this varied set.
