O’s Notes: Jason Miles (keyboards) is the genius and producer of Global Noize, a collection of all-star musicians including DJ Logic, Nona Hendriyx and Ingrid Jensen. This is a dedication to Sly Stone, a 1970s pop icon with an abundance of hits. Global Noize does the classics their way giving us some memories of he past while staying in the 21st century. We particularly enjoyed “Thank You For Talking To Me Africa ” and both versions of “It’s A Family Affair” with Roberta Flack singing and the Falu remix.
