O’s Notes: Denise has a warm, inviting voice that fits into the music leading to a delightful experience. We liked her last two Savant releases and like this one too! Pianist Geoffrey Keezer does a fine job directing the band that includes Peter Sprague (g), Alex Acuña (perc) and Carlos del Puerto (b). They give the program soft Latin tones that together with Keezer’s arrangements transform these covers into Donatelli’s zone.
