O’s Notes: They open with “Rolling Hills” a sure Top 10 on the NAC charts. Dave plays the trumpet and employs a strong band behind him. Guitarist Steve D’Angelo makes a statement on the title track, another cool funky tune. Dunlop wrote 9 of 11 and keeps it fresh with the covers, especially the mellow “I Can’t Help It”. They go techno funk on “Slinky” with Jim McGrath handling as keyboards and programming. But most of these tunes are on the cooler side of spectrum and pleasingly so. Our favorite was “The Rock” that placed us alongside the ocean waves relaxing.
