O’s Notes: Flautist Christian Artmann delivers a soothing, peaceful set on The Middle Of Life with pianist Laszlo Gardony, bassist John Lockwood and drummer. Yoron Israel. Vocalist Elena McEntire sings three selections notably “Paisagem Da Janela”. Most of the ten selections were composed by Artmann as he contemplates our current sad state of affairs with senseless murders, suicides and political power plays. The music takes us away from the chaotic situations.
