O’s Notes: Ramana Vieira is a 1st generation American with Portuguese parents. Her music always contains elements of Portugal and on Tudo De Mim she sprinkles threads of Brazil and Hawaii. Four of the ten selections are originals, one is an instrumental take of “Fado La La La”. The music is tilted more towards Latin-pop than jazz. Vieira also plays piano and gets support from David Parker (b), Jeff Furtado (g), and Earl Jackson (d, perc).
