O’s Notes: Tues Days is an energetic duo recording featuring soprano saxophonist Jane Ira Bloom and drummer percussionist Allison Miller. They perform seven collaborations and four Bloom originals in a scintillating session. “Rowing In The Dark” and “Crayola” have a tribal feel with generous improvised melodies. Those melodies come not only from Ira Bloom but also from Miller’s talking drums and percussion. Certainly, worth checking out, repeatedly!
