O’s Notes: Hanka Gregušová, aka Hanka G, is a Slovak jazz, gospel and world music singer/songwriter. She enlists the support of a large award-winning team including Shedrick Mitchell (organ, p), James Hurt (p, Fender Rhodes), and Rodney Kendrick (p). Hanka sings in front of the band and a spirited choir. They take us to church on “Be Grateful”, “Through The Fire”, “As You Are” featuring Sisa Michalidesova (fl), “Someday We’ll All Be Friends” and include a jazzy take of “Them There Eyes”.
