O’s Notes: This is a talented team of musicians led by Irvin Mayfield (t) and Bill Summers (perc, v). They are joined by a wealth of other New Orleans musicians including Kermit Ruffins (t) and Ricky Sebastian (d, tb). They feed off of each other playing a combination of New Orleans jazz, funk and Latin music. Songs like “Rojo’s Revenge” really pop. It’s basically a party that is worth attending.
