O’s Notes: Marc Jordan is a polished crooner who seems to get better with time, like an ageless Bordeaux wine. He surrounds himself with the Prague Smecky Orchestra including lush strings. There are also strong soloists like pianist Lou Pomanti, and guest Randy Brecker on trumpet who compliment Jordan in all the right spots. The program includes a dozen classics like “Everybody Wants To Rule the World” and “Best Day of My Life”. This is an album that delivers relaxing songs that we listened to repeatedly without fatigue!
