O’s Notes: Terry has performed around the globe on land and sea as a crooner usually in front of a large ensemble. His vocals are honey smooth and he guides through thirteen songs from yesteryear with a freshness of today. He achieves this by selecting the best available musicians as partners on his recording debut. Examples are Lorne Lofsky’s guitar solo on “I Wonder Why” and Pat LaBarbera’s sax on “Darn That Dream”. The man who pulls it all together is bassist, producer and arranger Shelly Berger. The feel of this session is just right. If we see Alexander on the marquee, we’re headed inside!
