O’s Notes: Anna Marie has a relaxed smoky voice that she pairs with a set of ten classics and one original. Jeffrey Chin’s arrangements are very different and may not appeal to traditionalists. But after adapting to the new vibe, we found Fletcher’s takes to be pleasing in most cases. The supporting musicians were very good throughout the session. Our favorites tunes were “God Bless The Child”, “What A Difference A Day Makes” and Flechero’s “Pretty Soon”.
