O’s Notes: The trio is Mick Rossi (p, B3, d, harmonium), Peter Hess (sax, cl), and Matt Moran (vibraphone, percussion). They play original free fusion that will stretch your imagination. You Break You Buy was initiated with a completely improvised session with consideration that they would flesh out the set later with dubbing and production mixing. That process allowed them to not “overdo it” during the live first take, knowing they could enhance their ideas in the studio. It results in a more relaxed and listenable recording with all the edginess of free jazz.
