O’s Notes: Cliff is a singer songwriter with a wide vocal range. He performs in front of a large R&B ensemble lead by musical director Evan Mackey (tb) and arranger Munenori ‘Moon’ Kishi. There are thirteen tunes, all crafted for Cliff’s soulful voice. “How High The Moon”, “It’s Alright With Me”, and “You Showed Me The Way” are a few of the best examples. They wrap up the set with “The Gift Of The Blues”, a Beach original.
