O’s Notes: Guitarist Tom Lagana is a converted heavy metal enthusiast! He fell in love with jazz while attending Berklee College of music and was fully transformed. He appears here with Tom Baldwin (b), Dave Ballou (t), George Arzone (sax) and Todd Harrison (d). The program is nine originals plus two covers. We liked their calypso-based arrangement of “All or Nothing at All”, “Clashords”, “Dents” and “Evidence”.
