O’s Notes: Indian vocalist Kavita Shah marries cross continental cultures from Brazil to New York to Mumbai. The genres being cultivated are MPB (Brazilian Popular Music), Mandé, Hindustani classical and American jazz. Music serves as a much better melting pot than political arenas! The title track is an excellent transformation of Stevie Wonder’s song by the same name. There is a lot to enjoy among the fifteen selections. We liked “Tabla Interlude”, “Triste”, “Moray”, “Deluge” and more. In fact there is little that we didn’t like. Shah’s mix is intoxicating!
