O’s Notes: For As I Sing, Indian vocalist Radha Thomas performs in a series of duets with several different guitarists. The names speak for themselves. Reg Schwager, Pete McCann, Paul Meyers, and Tom Dempsey are prolific masters of their guitars, highlighting the session. The program is straight from the American songbooks with songs like “Social Call”, “Summertime”, “Jitterbug Waltz”, and “I Remember Clifford”. It’s fine background, coffee shop music with excellent guitar work.
