O’s Notes: Callie Cardamon released a jazz standards album about a decade ago and then disappeared to life’s demands but also focused on country music. She maintained her taste for jazz with the core of Standards, Volume II awaiting her attention. That title morphed to Jump For Joy, only five songs covering 17 minutes but it’s time well spent! Callie brings back some classic, vocal jazz highlighted by “Peel Me A Grape” and “Summertime”. It warrants more of her time!
