O’s Notes: Chadwick Johnson is a passionate, soulful, singer and songwriter who gives us 14 takes on romance with Stormy Love. They open with “Addicted” featuring Grace Kelly (sax) and the mood is set for a good mix of classic and original tunes. We preferred Johnson crooning on “Blame It On My Youth” over the pop style of “It’s Up To You” and “Song From Another Time”. But he addresses a wide audience here including a taste of country on “Crying” and blues on “I Love You More Than You’ll Ever Know” with excellent accompaniment from Tasso Peltkis (g), David Olivia’s (sax) and Jason Corpuz (B3).
