O’s Notes: The Walking Cliché Sextet is a band that layers overlapping and colliding patterns with spontaneous improvisation. Bassist, composer SeaJun Kwon says Micro-Nap “reflects my emotional frustrations, nonlinearity, the transience of feelings, and the emptiness of noise, as well as my attraction to them”. The music is more appealing than the quote suggests. After several chaotic episodes we favored the final track, “Transient”.
